Gran Hermano All Stars (also known as ''Gran Hermano: El Reencuentro'') premiered on February 3, 2010 and concluded March 30, 2010. It is the first Spanish All Stars edition for the reality franchise ''Big Brother''. On January 31, 2010, during the last episode of ''El Debate'' for Gran Hermano 11, Gran Hermano host Mercedes Milá confirmed that the Gran Hermano house will open again just one week after the Gran Hermano 11 finale, this time however with former housemates from previous seasons of Gran Hermano. The twist for this edition is that housemates will be working in pairs, corresponding to their season, similar to the twist used on Big Brother 9 U.S. This is the shortest season of 'Gran Hermano' to be ever produced in Spain, lasting only 56 days, this happens mainly because the show was supposed to run for a period of at least a month but was extended until ratings were possible, the Galas of Days 35, 42 and 49 have all received a viewership below of 3 million viewers, thus, producers decide to end its run on March 30, 2010, so viewers can happily wait for Gran Hermano 12 set to premiere in the fall of 2010. ==Housemates== Big Brother: All Stars first edition takes place a week after the fine of Big Brother 11 and, therefore, the house of this edition is the same that the used to the eleven edition with the name of Spy House or "Ecological House". For their band the production and the studio have not experienced any change. Initially, to the contest had to be played by old contestants of Big Brother Spain. The contestants need to had conflicts or "pending accounts" with somebody of their respective editions to take part in All Stars edition. Then the contest shows a new mechanical: work in couple. In addition there will not be nomination: the public by the official web of Telecinco, will save 3 couples. These 3 couples will choose which of the 2 remaining have to abandon the contest. Two days after the start Nacho and Desireé walked it for health problems of their son in common. For replace the copule, and with the purpose to extend the duration of the contest, two new couples entered on the game: Pepe and Raquel and Inma and Beatriz, all from Big Brother 7. Then Big Brother 4 remained without representation. A week after the start, Arturo was expelled of the contest by the program for aggressive behaviours to his companion of edition (Indhira). The program gave Indhira the opportunity to continue on the contest with a new couple or to abandon it on 24 hours. After been thinkin it the girl decided to walked with the fear of have to suffer anyone of his edition housemates. Two weeks next took place Bea's ejected for aggressive behaviours to Melania. Nicky continued only until Gala's day, when he received his new mate: Cristal. The same day their two would be expelled, trail Cristal like the contestant more fleeting of the history of the program (remained as only 2 hours). During the Gala's day Melania and Piero communicated their decision to walked the program and, therefore, would be substituted by Jorge Berrocal and María José Galera, from Big Brother 1. In the same Gala, Amor and the Andalla would be expelled. Big Brother 9 remained without representation. On 11 of March María José decides to abandon for problems to the kidney.
